Another quote from Old List: “Stools”
Isn’t this list great, LOL!! For me whenever there is inflammation stools can be small and in pieces, almost pellet-like. That’s when I’m in the john 10-15 times a day. The body wants to have a “normal” one or two-stool BM, but it can’t because of the inflammation, so instead it comes out in pieces over many trips to the bathroom. Sometimes there will be D, B, and M mixed in, but that’s rare any more — only when I have a really nasty flare-up like the one I’m getting over now.
And other times (again rare for me anymore) stools, because of inflammation, can be long and thin, usually barely formed and very soft. In both these cases cramping can be severe because the body is trying its darnedest to get the offending stuff out.
I used to freak out about all this stuff and my weight, but after talking with Lucy, I don’t anymore. She said to just pay more attention to how you are feeling over all and not worry quite so much about the niggling things. The body has to go through some tremendous changes as it heals, so it’s great to hear that you are doing so well. Keep it up!
