Elaine: Digestive Enzymes
DIGESTIVE ENZYMES Elaine WROTE:
Digestive enzymes can be helpful. They are used for Cystic Fibrosis kids who
are riddled with diarrhea and do help them. They do not do a complete job,
for example, the lipas (fat splitting digestive enzyme) will probably split
(digest about 50% of the fat) but they are helpful. With the diet, I believe
you are will do very well with both the enzymes and the SCD. Some people, of
course, do not ever need additonal help but it is obvious that a few of you do.
