Homemade Garam Masala

Ingredients

4 tablespoon Cumin seeds
4 tablespoon Coriander seeds
1 tablespoon Cardamom seeds
2 Cinnamon sticks, crushed
1 tablespoon Black peppercorns
2 teaspoon Whole cloves

Dry roast all ingredients in a heavy skillet over medium heat until the spices emit a toasty aroma. Let cool. Grind to a powder in a coffee grinder or blender.
